1. If any airport employee or any person, passenger, visitor or any one witnessed aircraft accident / incident, he / she should immediately notify the nearest airport office (e.g. Information Center) who in his turn will pass the notification to AAIU.
  2. AAIU investigator should start filling out the Preliminary Notification Form (Form No.31 -2, appendix 2). If there is any missing information, AAIU Investigator may call the involved airport office who in his turn will try to convince the witness to stay for a short period in order to meet the AAIU Investigator and complete the Form. AAIU will inform the witness that he may use Witness Statement Form (Form No.31-4 or 31-8, appendix 2).  
  3. AAIU Investigator shall use the most  comfortable means while interviewing the witness in order to extract the needed information.
