Notice of Proposed Rule Making

New JCAR

Jordan Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission(CARC) hereby releases a new proposed JCAR’s to become more closely aligned with the European Aviation Safety Agency as below:

 Part-66 Certifying Staff (Personnel Licensing)

  - To define the aircraft maintenance licence and establishes the requirements for application, issue and  continuation of its validity, and also replaces and cancels subpart A,D,E,I of JCAR Part 65,

   - To comply with ICAO Annex 1 to be harmonized with EU regulation (IR Part-66) .

Part – 147 Maintenance Training Organizations

 -  To establishes the requirements to be met by Organisations involved in the training of personnel referred to in Part 147 and seeking approval to conduct training and examination as specified in Part-147, and also replaces and cancels JCAR part 147,

  - To comply with ICAO Annex 1 and to be harmonized with EU Regulation (IR Part-147)

  This notice is to announce the proposed change and to seek concerned parties comments regarding the above mentioned regulations and the facilitate enhanced public involvement in the process.
